Course Objectives:  A functional, integrated approach to strength training will be introduced which incorporates balance, coordination, and agility.  We’ll use dumbbells, medicine balls, stability balls, and body weight to grow stronger.  Mini-lectures will be presented  on a variety of fitness topics, such as myths, benefits, stretching, nutrition, sleep deprivation, plyometrics, and more.  You will learn basic anatomy and ways to strengthen each area based on a movement approach.
