Tips for getting started



Special tip for staff:

  • Staff can activate a Moodle account by simply logging in to Moodle.
    The act of logging in will add your name to the general Moodle Users list so that you can then be added to specific courses, if needed.

    Email notifications about Assignments - Yes!

    We've been hearing from students (and faculty) that there is interest in staying more updated about their coursework.  To facilitate that we've changed a setting in Moodle that will mean you will get automatically emailed about any activity related to your Assignment submissions - if faculty desire.  For now, students are not able to opt out of receiving these emails, but we'll try to provide that option by next semester.  [Faculty:  How to change settings]
