    Mon, May 04, 2026, 10:56 AM
    by Brad Wheeler.

    Dear Faculty and Instructors,

As we move toward our full transition to Canvas, please keep these critical dates and "Next Steps" in mind:

    1. Fall 2026 Building is Underway
All Fall 2026 course shells are live in Canvas. While Summer I & II remain here in Moodle, all Fall course development should now take place at mtholyoke.instructure.com.

    2. Upcoming Moodle "Snapshot" Deadline: May 15
On May 15, EdTech will take a "snapshot" of all Spring 2026 Moodle courses to move them into Canvas for you. Please ensure your current Moodle materials are updated by this date for a clean transfer.

    3. Import Your Archived Content in Canvas
Your archived Moodle materials are already waiting for you in Canvas. Use our Guide to Importing Materials to get started (available on the Summit Site).

    4. Hands-On Support
Need help building? Join us for our Canvas "Construction Zone" workshops:
      • Thu 5/7 & Fri 5/8 (1:00pm – 2:00pm; LIBR 418)
      • Thu 5/14 & Fri 5/15 (1:00pm – 2:00pm; LIBR 418)
      • Thu 5/21 & Fri 5/22 (1:00pm – 2:00pm; LIBR 418)

You may also Book a 1-on-1 appointment with the EdTech team.

PaGE Faculty: Please check with your department administration for your specific transition timeline.

For a full list of detailed information, please visit the Summit Site.

    Best,
    The EdTech Team
