    Important Notice for All Faculty & Instructors

    The College has officially transitioned to Canvas LMS. All Fall 2026 course design must take place in Canvas now.

    What You Need to Know Right Now:

    • No Fall 2026 Course Design Here: Do not create, edit, or build any upcoming courses in Moodle.
    • Moodle is for Archiving Only: This space is accessible until October 2026 strictly to reference, copy, or download your past course materials.
    • Hard Deadline: Moodle will become completely unavailable after October 2026.

    Your Next Steps:

    • Start Building in Canvas: Log in to Canvas here: http://mtholyoke.instructure.c om
    • Get Support: For step-by-step guides, training opportunities, and FAQs, please visit the Canvas Summit Site.
    • PaGE Faculty: Please check with your department administration for your specific transition timeline.

Course Retention Policy

Faculty: Courses are retained for 3 full years, then deleted in August (more information can be found in our Course Retention Policy).

Students: Courses are hidden from student view a few weeks after the end of each semester, in order to comply with copyright restrictions.
